On a dewy, wet weekend, we packed up and headed to upstate NY, New Paltz to be exact. The quiet adventure was much needed as the entire summer was spent in the city. Along with the ride, I couldn’t help but reconnect with nature, just sitting, listening and observing- the pale- purple valley mist; the small, simple thistle colored flower, the decorative sequined Grapes and vintage candy boxes in Lavender, Violet at the a vintage store and the lovely woman’s lavender tips at the store we stopped in upon arrival.

Beautiful, buttery-makes you want to melt. Excuse the drooling but I’ve been rolling around with my ginormous Marc by Marc bag for over a year.  It’s about time I got a new bag but this would be the ultimate autumn dream- the Marc Jacobs Lavender Groovee Satchel..I’ll even whistle “Groovy is my name” while wearing it.
